Looking to buy new wrist watch.leaning toward bulova, are they reliable?

D Roberts asked:

Its time to get myself a xmas gift. I have been looking at watches for a couple months now. At first i was looking to spend anywhere from $400-$1000, as long as i got something that looked and felt of luxury. However, i visted a kay jewler and took a look at the bulova watch set. I liked the style of the watches and the prices were all under $600, with a much more expensive and exquisite look. My question is are they worth it? Would it be much different to spend 3-$400 more for a different brand?Im not necessarily looking for a diamond watch but i tried this one on and i really liked the look. It had some shine because of the diamonds and black interface but not too much(i think diamond bezels look tacky unless you have 5 + carats)

here it is http://www1.macys.com/catalog/product/index.ognc?ID=180112&CategoryID=29298

Has anyone ever wish they could live their life in reverse?

Wednesday, February 27th, 2008
♥ Rachel The Great ♥ asked:

I want to live my next life backwards:
You start out dead and get that out of the way.
Then you wake up in an old age home feeling better every day.
Then you get kicked out for being too healthy.
Enjoy your retirement and collect your pension.
Then when you start work, you get a gold watch on your first day.
You work 40 years until you’re too young to work.
You get ready for High School: drink alcohol, party, and you’re
generally promiscuous.
Then you go to primary school, you become a kid, you play, and you have no responsibilities.

Then you become a baby, and then…

You spend your last 9 months floating peacefully in luxury, in spa-like
conditions - central heating, room service on tap, and then…

You finish off as an orgasm.

I rest my case.

should i save more money for the baby ?

Palin, Troopergate Now False Expense Reports?

Saturday, February 23rd, 2008
lwilcox69 asked:

Gov. Sarah Palin charged the state for her children to travel with her, including to events where they were not invited, and later amended expense reports to specify that they were on official business.

The charges included costs for hotel and commercial flights for three daughters to join Palin to watch their father in a snowmobile race, and a trip to New York, where the governor attended a five-hour conference and stayed with 17-year-old Briston for five days and four nights in a luxury hotel.

Please answer. and star?

This is just a thought- I was watching Big Brother and their luxury shopping budget is £5 per person per day. I spend more than that on my lunch.

In your household, how much do you spend per person per day on food (and essentials) shopping?

I must spend £15 easily.
Mouse, I know you weren’t insinuating that I smoked- but I think it’s important to mention that I don’t smoke OR drink.

Please critique the intro to my new short story?

I’ll keep posting more and more chapters on my questions later. This is the intro letter from the main character to his sister. Right now i just want the oppinion of the public.

It’s funny how the tables can turn on you. At one moment you could be happy, with the one you love, living life to the fullest when suddenly life throws you pain after pain and you find yourself sobbing in the darkness, bleeding alone, wondering where it all went wrong. You find yourself living life on the sidelines, watching people live without really being alive yourself. And that’s when you realize that your only real friends are the tears; the tears that keep you company on those dark, solemn nights, when you feel like a razor-blade to the wrist is the only way out.

Am I being psychotic, no. Am I being unreasonable, I think not. I am only realizing that this world is full of lies and deceit. Of course there is love, kindness, and passion. Those are but luxuries that only the rich and the young can afford. All these thoughts invading my mind have made one thing clear. This life that we all must live, that we must protect and value above all, is but a game. A game, my dear Elizabeth that I’m afraid I’m losing. I feel that my life is so corrupted with this pain and hate, that to hope for any form of happiness would be futile. I tell you this not to frighten or to worry you, but to open your eyes as I have been forced to open mine; so you may live your life without making the same mistakes I did.

Even though you may hate me and most definitely forever will, I write because I still love you, like when we were young. Thoughts of playing games with you and swimming in the lake together are all that have been keeping me alive lately. They are the only beautiful memories that haven’t turned into fiendish monsters that ravage the mind and torment me constantly.

If you don’t hear from me after you receive this, please don’t worry. And please forgive me for all the things I did to you years back. I am truly sorry. I ask this of you because I don’t know what will happen to me. Whatever my destiny is brewing for me, it can’t be worse than what I have to deal with now. One thing is for sure, I’m nearly done playing this sick game. What my score will be, I don’t know. Where I’ll end up, I could care less.
Game Over. Thank God.

From your brother,

William.

did anyone else see the empty seats?

yerbar79 asked:

It really pisses me off when I see so many empty seats during the Stanley Cup Playoffs. If you watched the Red Wings games, you would see that there were a bunch through out the entire game. There is no way so many people are all getting a beer 10 minutes into overtime. Don’t take this luxury of having NHL hockey for granted.

Which home would you choose?

Monday, February 11th, 2008
Lippers asked:

We are trying to decide between 2 homes in MD and I would like some additional opinions. Both are new construction and in the same area and school district. Which would you choose?

House 1
Big Lot - backyard is 100 feet. Backs to large well kept home.
Nice Community (120 Luxury Homes) - has started to be developed and can see how it is going to look.
Pricey - 100K more than House 2
Won’t be able to get finished basement of Solarium. Would need to watch what options we got to keep the price down.

House 2
Smaller lot - backyard would be half the size (45 feet). Backs to older smaller well-kept home.
Small Community - 20 homes - nothing has been built yet so can’t really tell how it is going to look.
Community Entrance not as grand as House 1
Great Price - Mortgage would be $500 less month
House would be loaded with any option we wanted
We can afford both homes, but would have to save for any improvements to House 1.

HOA fees are consistent with what we pay now. I am a board member of my current HOA and appreciate the effect they have on the community. I want a community where people maintain their lawns.

Right now I feel more comfortable with Home 1 b/c there are already houses up and I can see how it is going to look. It is hard buying a home and not being able to visualize what you are going to get.

The actual home designs are exactly the same and appear to be of similar quality.

Please read my question, it’s long, but I need your help?

DelWy Investments asked:

When you feel like watching a movie or going shopping at some luxury stores, what’s the deciding factor? Is it the decor, the some 96 luxury shops that will be offered, how well our dancing fountains performed, the world’s largest IMAX screen at over 170′ diagonal feet, the IMAX 3D experience, the four giant 100′ diagonal foot screens, the 18 other Lucasfilm THX certified screens, the 1200 inhabitant jungle atrium, the walk through aquarium, or the two five star restaurants?

Hi, this is a preliminary poll we’re taking for a possible super-mall in the west Texas region. It would have all these amenities, and a staff of over 300 employees. Not to mention, the world’s first “green” parking complex (green because of the amount of emissions offset by the garden on the roof).

***What I’m asking is would you like to shop here, and why, or why not?
